Hi! Welcome to The F1 Carnicles.

The F1 Carnicles is a blog dedicated to my research and exploration into the cars of my favourite sport, Formula One. My dream career is to become a Formula One Engineer and work on the cars that represent the pinnacle of 4-wheel motorsport.

Here I will share my findings as I satisfy my curiosity about these mechanical beasts and document my journey towards achieving my goals in the fast-paced world of Formula One engineering. Join me as I learn about the rich history of this adrenaline-filled sport, explore the latest technological advancements, delve into the behind-the-scenes world that keeps Formula One running and uncover the intricacies of engineering in the realm of high-performance racing.

Through The F1 Carnicles, I also aim to inspire aspiring female engineers, racing enthusiasts and anyone intrigued by the fascinating intersection of technology and speed that is F1 in hopes to make everyone feel welcome in the sport while simultaneously helping my readers learn everything there is to know about Formula 1 and all the behind-the-scene action of this notorious sport.

About Me, the Creator.

My name is Talia Anassis, a South African who lives in Florida and a high school senior who has always dreamed of working as an engineer in the Formula One industry. I plan to go to university to study mechanical engineering (and maybe one day accounting as I love anything to do with numbers and organization) and go on to work for a Formula One team. My favourite team is Mclaren and has been since I was introduced to the glorious sport by a friend in 2019. I grew up around motorsports as my dad is motorcyclist who has raced all over the world and later on became a drag racer, going on to become known as "The Fastest Man in Africa on Two Wheels". He even had his own team called Anassis Racing where he coached and managed 4 racers every year. I used to love going to any race that I could and I am pretty sure that I got my love for racing from him.

I love anything that I can do with my hands like building Lego, puzzles and Ikea furniture as well as anything to do with arts and crafts. The only hobby I have yet to master is crocheting. I am an avid reader who loves any fantasy book that has some romance sprinkled into it and a music-lover who appreciates music from any and every genre.

I hope that one day I will get to work as a mechanical engineer for either the McLaren or Mercedes F1 teams. I would like to get my Masters in Mechanical Engineering and maybe a Bachelors in Accounting further down the line.

Any questions or queries?
Drop me a message and share your thoughts.
I'd love to hear from you!
